Sunday evening will be a commissioning service for Richard and Debbie as they are being sent out to Greece for two weeks to work with the children of Greece in Vacation Bible School. Services start at 6:30 pm.

First Baptist Church salutes those who have fought and died in defense of the freedoms we so gratefully enjoy.  We thank God for the courage and dedication these men and women fought, lived and died with to ensure that we can live free to worship the Creator of freedom and liberty.

This Sunday, our church is celebrating the 64th anniversary with our annual “Dinner on the Grounds.”  It will follow our morning service.  This will be our last Dinner on the Grounds at our current location, so join us for this special celebration of God at work for the last 64 years through our church in Fontana and His current work now and in the future through FBC Fontana.

On Sunday during the morning service, we will be voting on a recommendation from the Pulpit Committee on calling Brian Simms to the position of Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church, Fontana.  Brian Simms has been our Interim Pastor for the last 3 months and the Associate Pastor since July, 2003.  The vote will be part of our morning service at 10:30 am.
